Intel releases their first-ever discrete graphics cards: Everything you need to know!

Updated: Oct 16, 2022

Users have to wait for a couple more weeks before the final release of Intel's Arc desktop GPUs. The Arc lineup includes two graphics cards for no. These are Arc A750 and Arc A770.

Intel built a position in the computer hardware industry with its processors and integrated GPUs. For more than 30 years, Intel has been one of the major companies in this industry.

Recently they announced the Raptor Lake Series which will introduce the revolutionary 13th gen processors which will compete with AMD's Ryzen 7000 Series processors.

Here Intel fans interested to get their discrete GPUs can find out the pricing, the release date, and specifications for the ease of choice of GPU while PC building.

When will the Intel Arc Series be released?

The Intel Arc Series is not too far to be plugged into PCs and gives the gamer a full-fledged gaming experience on an affordable budget. It is set to release within only a couple of weeks, with the exact release date set to the 12th of October

Both the GPUs, the ARC A750 and ARC A770 will be released on the same, as announced by Intel.

How much will the ARC A750 and ARC A770 Cost?

The Intel ARC A750 and ARC A770 graphics cards will release on October 12. The A770 comes in two memory configurations, one with 8GB VRAM and the other being a 16GB variant.

The 8GB variant of the Intel Arc A770 GPU will cost almost 329$ and the 16GB variant of the card will be priced at 349$. Meanwhile, the ARC A750 will only be available with an 8GB variant which will start from 289$.

Specifications of the Intel ARC A750 and Intel ARC A770

The Intel ARC A770 will come with 32 Xe cores, and 32 ray-tracing units and is clocked at 2,100MHz. The 8 GB and the 16 GB memory configurations of the ARC A770 offer up to 512 Gb/s and 560 Gb/s of memory bandwidth, respectively.

Meanwhile, the A750 which comes with only 8GB VRAM features 28 Xe cores, 28 ray-tracing units, a 2,050MHz graphics clock, and up to 512 GB/S of memory bandwidth. The three GPUs will have 225W of total power.

Will the Intel ARC Series compete with the RTX 3060?

Intel claims the A770 16GB variant will deliver more ray tracing performance than the RTX 3060 which has similar pricing. As per Intel, in Fortnite, A770 is said to deliver 1.56 times more ray tracing performance than the RTX 3060.

Although the ARC A770 is set for such an affordable price, it shouldn't be undermined by the pricing. Although cheaper, these cards are much more efficient compared to the last generation RTX 3060. According to Intel, the A770 will perform 53 percent better than the RTX 3060 while the A750 gives a 42 percent performance boost over the RTX 3060.
